Originating from the same hometown as his first and most influential employer, Kenneth Turner, Jonny moved to London and started his career in floral artistry working for the already well established Kenneth Turner Floral Couture. Working on a variety of projects for high profile clients such as The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Trudi Styler and the later Princess Diana Jony was able to realise his passion in creating sculptural installations using a variety of botanical materials.

Moving to Australia in 1997, Jonny set up Casablanca Flowers in Double Bay where he continued to work as a florist and floral artist serving the people of the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. After 10 years in retail, and with a desire to get closer to the source of great produce, Jonny decided a tree change would be best. With children on the way, a move to the NSW Byron Bay Hinterlands allowed him to start growing his own produce and supply his friends and colleagues who he left behind in Sydney.

This quickly grew, and with the advent of the internet and more recently social media, Jonny’s produce has become well known and highly sought after by florists and events companies alike. His design eye and experience as a florist and floral artist allows him to concentrate on growing unique pieces which he knows will add value, as well as sourcing and identifying the next trends in foliage.
